How To Sharing Connection a HSDPA Modem Through LAN/WLAN

Hello all……
Umm…yesterday, my friend ask to me, “How To Sharing Connection a HSDPA Modem Through LAN/WLAN?”. Oops, I did not understand at all, and then, I try to search on the internet, after a few minutes i finally met! Yay! :D

This is Step by Step How To Sharing Connection a HSDPA Modem Through LAN/WLAN. Here we go…..


OS : Windows Family
Modem : Huawei e220

  • Open the modem properties [see figure 1].

    • Sharing HSDPA modem1 ** If you want to share to the LAN, select Local Area Network. ** If you want to share to the WLAN, select Wireless Network Connection.

  • Open LAN/WLAN properties [see figure 2].

    • Sharing HSDPA modem2

  • Create a Static IP in the Host Computer [see figure 3].

  • If you share to the LAN, stop tutorial on figure 3. :)
  • And now set the Client IP. Try IP Client in the same subnet (see figure 3). Use the IP Range 192.168.0.1, the client must use a subnet 192.168.0.X. And directing the default gateway ip to the host, in this example is 192.168.0.1.

  • Finish!!
